What are in-player adverts?

In-player adverts are text-based ads that you can build, complete with links through to pages.

Click a video, then “Edit in-player ads” on the left hand side to set these up.

How do I make my adverts display at certain points?

Click a video and click “Setup timed ads” to select the start and end times you’d like your ads to be displayed at.

How do I make a video clickable?

Hotspot groups are groups of clickable regions which are assigned to in-player adverts.

Click a video, then “Setup clickable ads” on the left hand side to add and edit clickable regions – and choose which ads they display.

The hotspot editor lets you add regions at points along the timeline.

Why do hotspots disappear so quickly?

When you add a hotspot, it lasts until the next one appears and moves between the two locations.

If it’s the last hotspot – then it appears for about a second.

You need to add them one after another along the timeline for as long as the object is visible.
