How do I get started?
The first thing you will need to do is upload a video.
From the Dashboard or Videos tab, click on the ‘Upload‘ button and select the video file you wish to upload from your computer. Once the file is uploaded to us you’ll be prompted to add some optional details.
In the background, Buto is encoding the video into web-ready files, this can take between 5 minutes and an hour, depending on the length of the video you uploaded.
Where is my video distributed from?
Your videos will be delivered from our Content Delivery Network (CDN). There’s more about this super-fast fibre optic network on our CDN feature page.
How do I get the player into my website?
You’ll need to copy and paste the embed code into your website, CMS or blog. First, click the video you’d like to use, scroll down and see the section called “Embed this video”. The system will let you copy and paste the HTML embed code for use on your site.
