Back in October we told you about how excited we were to see online video listed near the top of research agency Gartner’s predictions for 2011.

Now that we’re here, it might be the perfect time for you to think about how you’re going to host, manage and measure yours.

Gartner made no small point of saying how video has already become not just commonplace but an expected part of online experience.

“Video is not a new media form, but its use as a standard media type used in non-media companies is expanding rapidly.”

Buto has been built for non-traditional media owners. Although many news, TV and film companies use Buto, its interface is what makes it a powerful tool for any communicator and it’s what’s won the most praise from our customers.

With little technical knowledge Buto lets you upload video to the web. Our sophisticated features then let you control how that video appears and behaves with features that let you do anything from building multi-lingual subtitles, to making individual objects in the video clickable. Buto delivers your video to your viewers via a global content delivery network which makes sure they get a fantastic experience regardless of their device, location or connection speed, and its advanced statistical reporting features mean you can see exactly how well your video is performing for you.

Check out the features section above for more information about all the different things you get as part of Buto’s £99+VAT per month price.

“Over the next three years Gartner believes that video will become a commonplace content type and interaction model for most users, and by 2013, more than 25 percent of the content that workers see in a day will be dominated by pictures, video or audio.”
