We’ve already seen our customers do great things with Buto and our API – including building custom web TV channels and mobile apps.

In an effort to make integration with iOS devices like iPhone and iPad easier, we’re releasing libraries for iOS developers to easily add Buto video to their applications.

Using these files, you can connect to your Buto account using the API and return videos based on tags you specify. The iPhone can then play the video natively in its video playback user interface which all iPhone users are familiar with.

The tag control means that your users on the control panel can ‘publish’ specific content out their iPhone app in seconds, simply by adding a specific tag.

What’s more, our ‘Tracker’ lets your applications send analytic data back to Buto on view counts and duration monitoring.

If you’re working to build video into your app on iPhone or iPad – these files will save you a lot of work and make integration with the Buto platform easy.

Visit our API Libraries page in the developer section for links to the code.
